These are just a few of the great parks on the Dallas side of the Metroplex. Each park offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun that kids of all ages can enjoy!

Celebration Park

Celebration Park is a community park that includes picnic tables, a playground, pavilion, restrooms, 2 softball/baseball fields, soccer field, basketball courts, swimming pool, hiking/biking trails and a hockey rink.
Allen Station Park features hike and bike trails, picnic tables, barbecue grills, playground and baseball/softball fields.

Bob Woodruff Park

Bob Woodruff Park has a two pavilions, a playground with baby swings, restrooms, a fishing pier, picnic facilities, a sand volleyball court, and a hard surface recreational trail measuring 1.7 miles. The pavilions are available for reservation through the parks and recreation reservation system.

Reverchon Park was designed to be the Central Park of Dallas. The 46 acre park offers entrances to the Katy Trail, baseball fields, basketball and tennis courts, and hiking trails. In 2002, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and the City of Dallas built a state-of-the-art playground accessible to children of all levels of physical abilities. In addition, the Reverchon Recreation Center offers a variety of indoor recreational activities.

White Rock Lake is a unique, 1,015 acre city lake which offers six playgrounds, a wide variety of outdoor activities, including a hike and bike trail (9.33 miles), Audubon Society-designated bird watching area and wetlands site, numerous scenic picnic areas, three rental facilities (Winfrey Point, the Dreyfuss Club and Big Thicket), fishing piers for catfish, sunfish, and bass fishing Special events, including the March of Dimes Walk America, White Rock Marathon, the White Rock Lake Trash Bash, and numerous sponsored runs, and White Rock Bath House Cultural Center.
